Day 15 - Making of Harry Potter / メイキング・オブ・ハリー・ポッター

Right after the Cursed Child play, I visited The Making of Harry Potter studio tour the next day. It was freaking hot outside—around 31°C! I really wanted to wear the Gryffindor cloak I bought back at USJ in Osaka, but I was way too shy. Man, I regret it so much… don’t even get me started. So many other fans were proudly wearing theirs!
「舞台ハリー・ポッターと呪いの子」を観劇した翌日、ワーナー ブラザース スタジオツアー東京 - メイキング・オブ・ハリー・ポッターに行ってきました。外はとにかく暑くて、気温は31℃くらい！大阪のUSJで買ったグリフィンドールのローブを着たくて持っていったのですが、恥ずかしがり屋が出てしまって着られませんでした…本当に後悔しています。だって周りのファンはみんな誇らしげに着ていたから！
In the park outside, we were greeted by statues of Hagrid and Harry. Entering the main building, there was a massive dragon hanging right from the ceiling. I skipped the main shop for now and headed straight into the tour.
屋外のパークでは、ハグリッドとハリーのスタチューが出迎えてくれました。メインビルディングに入ると、天井から巨大なドラゴンが吊り下げられていました。ショップは後回しにして、さっそくツアーへと向かいます。

The walls were lined with giant poster displays from all the Harry Potter films. We gathered in front of a massive set of doors while the tour staff gave us an introduction on what to expect. She asked if anyone had a birthday coming up soon… but no one spoke up. Mine was just a month away, but shyness struck again and I kept quiet. I know, I know!!! Please kill me! 😭
壁にはハリー・ポッター全映画作品の巨大なポスターがずらりと並んでいました。ツアーのスタッフさんから見どころや注意事項のツアー案内を聞きながら、大きな扉の前に集まります。スタッフさんが「もうすぐ誕生日の方はいらっしゃいますか？」と尋ねてくれたのですが…誰も手を挙げませんでした。実は僕の誕生日はほんの1ヶ月後だったのですが、またしても人見知りを発動して黙ってしまいました。分かってます、分かってますってば！！！穴があったら入りたい！😭

It was so stunning inside. We were literally walking right through the Great Hall! We saw the Sorting Hat, and as everyone gathered around, it came to life, speaking and calling out all four houses: Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Gryffindor!
中は言葉を失うほど素晴らしかったです。本当に大広間の中を歩いているんです！組分け帽子が置いてあり、みんなが集まると帽子が動き出し、4つの寮（レイブンクロー、ハッフルパフ、スリザリン、グリフィンドール）の名前を呼び上げ始めました！

Right near the Hogwarts Express was a Harry Potter Shop. While I was browsing, one of the Japanese staff members noticed my hat and called out to me, saying, “Hey, cool hat!”
9と¾番線のすぐ近くにハリー・ポッターのショップがありました。グッズを見ていた時、日本人スタッフの方に帽子を見られて「あ、それ良い帽子ですね！」と声をかけられたんです。
I told him I’d gotten it at a concert the week before, and he got super excited, replying, “Eyy sugoi! I’m a big fan of Ado!”
「先週のライブで買ったんですよ」と答えると、その人は大興奮して「えっすごい！僕、Adoの大ファンなんです！」と言ってくれました。
He even showed me his Ado tattoo on his palm! We ended up chatting for 5–10 minutes about our favorite songs and concert moments. I totally forgot to show him the Ado fan map project I made, but it was such a fun encounter!
なんと手のひらにあるAdoのタトゥーまで見せてくれました！お気に入りの曲やライブの思い出について5〜10分ほど盛り上がりました。僕が作ったAdoファンマップのプロジェクトを見せるのをすっかり忘れてしまいましたが、本当に楽しい出会いでした！

というわけで、スタジオツアー東京のレポートは以上です！
I bought a lot of stuff… a hoodie, the long-sleeve T-shirt Harry wore during the Triwizard Tournament (customized with my name on the back!), the Harry Potter sweater with the big ‘H’, a personalized passport holder, my Hogwarts Platform 9 ¾ ticket, and a ton of keychains and plushies.
散々グッズも買い込んじゃいました…パーカー、三大魔法学校対抗試合でハリーが着ていた背中に自分の名前が入ったカスタム長袖Tシャツ、胸に大きな「H」がついたハリーのセーター、名入れしたパスポートホルダー、9と¾番線のチケット、アドそして大量のキーホルダーやぬいぐるみ。
